Higher Education Partnership between Germany and Turkey

Collaborating to create international pathways in nursing education

Welcome!

Collaboration with Universities
in Turkey

Curato Med GmbH is developing structured educational partnerships with universities in Turkey to advance the healthcare professions internationally and create new career opportunities for graduates.

At the core is a coordinated supplementary qualification that complements the existing nursing degree and prepares students for international labor markets. Through close cooperation between colleges, universities, practice partners, and healthcare institutions, sustainable educational collaborations with long-term added value are created.

This opens up significantly better career prospects for students—both nationally and internationally.

Benefits for Universities

Benefits of an international training partnership

Building an International Profile
Universities position themselves as partners in an innovative international educational partnership and enhance their visibility in the global education landscape.

Curriculum Development
The Evaluation Office for Health Professions (GfG) analyzes the Turkish curriculum and uses it to prepare a model evaluation report, which serves as the basis for the training program at Turkish universities.

Knowledge Transfer and Academic Exchange
This partnership facilitates the exchange of teaching methods, pedagogical approaches, and practical training formats.

Train-the-Trainer Programs
Teachers can participate in workshops that teach modern teaching methods, skills training, and intercultural competencies.

Development of practice-oriented learning formats
Skills labs and practical training models are jointly established and further developed.

Attractive opportunities for students
Students gain additional career options and international opportunities, while their studies remain firmly rooted in a national context.

Sustainability Instead of Brain Drain
The model aims to build additional skills rather than drain existing resources from the system.

Elements of collaboration

How the collaboration works

The collaboration is based on a structured, multi-stage model.

01

Analysis of the current degree program

At the start, the existing curricula and training structures will be analyzed jointly, and a sample evaluation report will be prepared by the Evaluation Office for Health Professions (GfG).

02

Development of a additional curriculum

Based on this analysis, additional modules are being developed that incorporate additional skills and practical components.

03

Integration of Practical Experience and Skills Training

Practical learning formats and skills training support the development of practical skills.

04

Language Proficiency

On-campus language programs can further prepare students for international work environments.

05

Digital learning modules

Web-based training and modern learning formats complement the training program.

06

Academic Exchange

Faculty exchange and observation programs promote mutual understanding and the development of teaching methods.

Project Structure

Timeline for the collaboration

From Partnership to Implementation

At the start of a partnership, the period from the initial exploratory talks to the arrival of the first cohort of students lasts approximately 3.5 years.

For an established partnership, the duration of a cohort—from the program’s start at the beginning of the third academic year until departure—is approximately 2.5 years.

Developing education collaborations together

Universities seeking to expand their nursing programs internationally and open up new opportunities for their students can establish a structured educational partnership with Curato Med GmbH.
Together, we develop models tailored to each university, its existing academic structures, and its long-term development goals.
